Parent Involvement

Café LA Meals – Did you know that you can improve your child’s performance by simply having them eat in Café LA!  Here are some key facts about schools meals and how you can assist.

School Volunteers – While you cannot work inside Café LA there may be opportunities for you to help assist as a volunteer at your child’s school.  Check with your Café LA Manager and Principal to see if you can be of assistance in helping students during meal service or in other areas in the school.

Be Actively Involved – Ask your child what they had for lunch.  Talk to them about nutrition and their food choices.  Whether your child is in kindergarten or a senior in high school, actively talking to them about their choices is crucial.  Most importantly, be a role model and set the example of what to eat and how to stay active.  We’ve put together some resources for you at Café LA Wellness and You.
